Kids Under Cover

In 2026, Prosh Week will support Kids Under Cover.

Kids Under Cover is a non-for-profit organisation which supports vulnerable young people between the ages of 12 and 25 who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

Their flagship Studio Program provides relocatable studios to the backyard of families or carers with children facing an unstable housing environment, focusing on an early-intervention approach. These studios provides a stable space for a young person to grow and study while keeping them connected to their family and reducing the risk being forced to leave home prematurely.

Each night, this program provides housing for around 1000 young people at risk of homelessness. They have a particular focus on young people involved with and at risk of contact with the Youth Justice system, providing safe housing and support with employment, education and independent living to keep young people out of the system.

In conjunction with this, Kids Under Cover run Village 21 - a support program designed to provide safe accommodation and support for young people who are transitioning away from out-of-home care. Their three villages are designed to cater a secure living environment with the support of live-in mentors, empowering them with the crucial guidance and employment skills necessary for independent living.

The money raised through Prosh Week in 2026 will go towards giving disadvantaged youth in Victoria a better chance of flourishing to their full potential.
